Multiple Teams · Runnin’ Bulldog Basketball Prepares for Second Half of District

The Runnin’ Bulldogs will begin the second round of district this Friday night at Diamond Hill Jarvis at 7:30pm.  With a win against the Eagles of Diamond Hill, the Bulldogs will secure a playoff spot in district 7-4A, but the goal is to win all of their second round games and get in a position to tie for second or take third place in the district.  Their last outing was against the district leading Kennedale WIldcats last Friday.  The Runnin’ Bulldogs competed well and took a 30-29 lead into halftime.  Unfortunately, the Wildcats were too much for the Bulldogs and we fell 59-47 to the state ranked team from Kennedale.  Big games for the Bulldogs will be on Tuesday, February 10th against Godley and then again on Friday, February 13th against the Alvarado Indians.  Both of these games are at home in the Dog Pound and we hope to have great crowds to cheer on the Runnin’ Bulldogs.  See you in the gym!!  VENUS PRIDE, ALL IN!!!Runnin' Bulldog BB Timeout photo
